Let’s be honest. A bouquet of flowers can light up any room — or anyone’s face for that matter. There’s nothing more comforting than having a vase of flowers to spruce up a space and bring some good vibes. In fact, over the years I’ve made it a habit to have some flowers on my study table not only for aesthetics but to also relieve my stress while rushing papers and cramming content.

After experimenting with different flowers over the years, here are some of my favourites.

Baby’s Breath

I’m positive that Baby’s Breath is certainly not only on my list. Many have regarded the Baby’s Breath as one of their favourite flowers especially over the recent few years. The craze for this flower can be accorded to its versatile yet simple aesthetic which makes it fit for various scenarios. Furthermore, the flower is still beautiful even after it has withered. I remember receiving and giving Baby’s Breaths back in secondary school whenever there was a performance or a special event. The flower reminds me of my carefree secondary school days which makes it all the more special. My go-to spot to where I would have all my flower delivery in Singapore done is at a local flower shop that offers 24 hours delivery.

Roses

The ever beloved Rose is one that definitely makes it on the list. It’s been one of my favourite flowers growing up and I even have a Rose Plant right outside my house ! However, instead of the classic Red Rose, I’ve always been drawn to Pink roses. I absolutely love it’s soft magenta hue and find it to be charming and beautiful. It also makes for a great bouquet to give to your friends if you’re looking for something other than the usual Red Rose bouquet. Pink Roses embody a softness and elegance which I absolutely adore.

Sunflowers

Are Sunflowers not on anyone’s list of favourites ? This flower is undoubtedly well loved by many for its unique bright yellow tones which bring about an indescribable joy and warmth. Touted as the ‘Flower of Joy and Positivity’, Sunflowers are a sure fire way to lift your spirits up. They also are perfect for any sort of garden environment where the plant can be exposed to direct sunlight. Sunflowers are my favourites simply because of how they’re very presence brings me joy. Whenever I’m having a dull day, I like to pass by my favourite florist, 24hr City Florist, to admire the sunflower bouquets on display or even buy one if I’m truly under the weather. The flower truly is a must have when you need an extra boost to enliven your day.

Peonies

If I had to choose one flower to spruce up my environment, it would have to be Peonies for sure. Peonies exude a calm, sophisticated and elegant vibe which makes any place feel like home. It’s the perfect flower to deck your study desk or room. Furthermore, the flower has a longer lifespan compared to most, which makes it great in a gift bouquet or as a flower to adorn your environment. My personal favourite are white Peonies as they go well with any setting and are peaceful to look at. If you’re looking for a one-stop solution to make your environment more zen and charming, Peonies are the way to go.
